Scripts that sound like a person told you a story.
When your channel needs backup, tag me in. I write history and explainer scripts for faceless YouTube channels — researched properly, written to be spoken out loud, and checked twice before they land in your inbox. No filler. No yelling. No "in today's video we will discuss."
Proof first — my own channel
Skipped Pages. I research and write every episode myself.
This is my corner of YouTube: weird history, told quiet and straight. It's the best audition I can give you — same research habits, same voice, same picky rewrites I'd bring to your channel. Press play and you'll know how I write in about ninety seconds.
Like how that sounds? Your channel could sound like that too.

Pick what your channel needs. Then tag me in.
Straightforward packages. Researched fresh, written by me, revised by me. If your thing isn't listed, ask — I'd rather talk it through than sell you the wrong script.
A full episode script
One 8–15 minute script, ready to record. I find the angle, open on something strange and true, and keep one thread pulling viewers forward.
- Researched fresh — source list included
- First 30 seconds that earn the next ten minutes
- Title + description in your voice
- Tags researched per video, never copy-pasted
A pack of Shorts
45–60 second scripts for Shorts, TikTok, and Reels. One odd fact, one payoff, an ending that loops before viewers notice it ended.
- Hook lands in the first breath
- Written to be spoken, not just captioned
- Up to 3 researched hashtags per Short
- Packs of five or seven
Fix my draft
Got a draft that reads like a toaster wrote it? Send it over. I'll fact-check it, loosen it up, and make it sound like a person again.
- Rewritten in your voice, not mine
- Facts checked line by line
- Pacing tightened where viewers drift
- Honest notes on what wasn't working
Starting a channel from scratch?
I'll help you land on a niche you won't hate in three months, then write the first batch — full episodes, a week of Shorts, plus the unglamorous bits: channel tags, descriptions, upload checklist. Sorted.
Need a script every week?
My favorite way to work. We get into a rhythm, I learn what your audience clicks and what they skip, and your upload calendar stops being a weekly emergency.
Not sure which one fits? Three sentences about your channel is enough.
Ask me — I'll be straight with youHow I work
Slow where it matters. Fast where it doesn't.
Four steps between "here's my topic" and a script in your inbox. No account-manager telephone game — you talk to the person writing it.
I go find the story
Before I write a word, I read. Primary sources, old newspapers, the archive PDFs nobody links to. If a detail sounds too good, I assume it's wrong until I can prove otherwise.
I find the way in, then write it out loud
Every topic has one strange, specific moment that makes it click. I build around that — then I literally mutter the draft to myself. Anything that sounds written gets rewritten until it sounds said.
I check it twice
Names spelled right, dates that line up, claims I can stand behind. If I can't source it, it comes out. I'd rather cut a great line than ship a shaky fact.
You get the script — and my notes
A clean script, the source list, and title/tag ideas that fit the story. One revision round is built in. Tell me what feels off and I'll fix the actual problem, not just shuffle words.
About — the human in question
Hi. I'm Adam. I read footnotes for fun.
I'm the kind of nerd who reads the errata slip tucked in the back of an old book before the book itself — who falls down a three-hour hole because a 1912 newspaper mentioned a rain of meat over Kentucky and nobody since has properly explained it. Passion projects, weird margins, stories history tried to leave out: that's my home turf, and it's what I built Skipped Pages on.
I came to scriptwriting the sideways way — through making things with my hands, running my own little online projects, and learning exactly how a sentence dies when nobody bothers to read it aloud. So now I bother. Every draft gets spoken before it gets sent. If it sounds like a person leaning in to tell you something they probably shouldn't know — good. That was the job.
What you get from me is judgment you can hear: which detail leads, which claim needs a source or gets cut, where a viewer's attention actually wanders. That's not a style guide. That's just caring about the work, out loud, in every line.
Sounds like your kind of writer? One script is enough to find out.

Tell me what you make, how long are your videos, and how often do you post. Three sentences is plenty — I'll write back within a day, usually with a question you hadn't thought of yet.
